He also works for free as adviser to Commerce Minister Apiradi Tantraporn and, recently, adviser to Prime Minister's Office Minister Suvit Maesincee. Before his government appointments, Mr Nathporn worked for five years for the Sasin Institute for Global Affairs. Mr Suvit was a former Siga director and invited Mr Nathporn to work for the government. Mr Nathporn works with other experts in the government spokespersons team that also include Mr Kobsak Phutrakul (right). After the NEA becomes operational, Mr Nathporn has been appointed as an adviser to his former boss, Mr Suvit.
